Role Description

This is a full-time role based in Edmonton, AB. The Commercial Door Hardware Installer will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining door hardware and components in commercial and industrial settings. Daily tasks include assessing hardware requirements, performing precise installations, and troubleshooting hardware issues. The role also involves ensuring compliance with safety standards, customer specifications, and company guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in installing and maintaining commercial-grade door hardware, including automatic door operators and lock cylinders
  • Familiarity with perimeter security upgrades and troubleshooting hardware-related issues
  • Strong mechanical and technical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret hardware specifications and architectural blueprints
  • Experience in customer service and effective communication with clients
  • A valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract to commuting to various job sites
  • Experience in locksmith services or door and window replacement is an asset
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and install heavy hardware components
