Qualifications and/or Assets:

  • Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant of students with complex needs, varying abilities and skills
  • Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Assist with the development of academic, social and life skills
  • Experience with academic and behavioral programming, assistive technology, and/or medical needs
  • Ability to take direction from a variety of professionals
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Ability to accept flexibility in assigned duties, and supervise students during transitions, lunch and at work experience placements
