With the continued growth in the industry, Scotlynn is currently hiring a Driver Recruiter at our corporate office in Norfolk County. This role is for an individual with exceptional communication skills and a thorough understanding of the transportation industry.   ABOUT US Scotlynn is a multinational produce grower and transportation provider specializing in time-sensitive refrigerated products. Note: This is a commission-only role with unlimited earning potential – no base salary. The draw amount ensures you're supported with steady pay while you build your driver pipeline, and your earned commissions are applied against that draw.
THE ROLE Scotlynn is growing and is in need of additional support for our Driver Recruiting Team. This role will develop and implement effective recruitment and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable drivers. As someone with transportation industry experience you will use hiring websites, trade shows, social media and your extensive network to attract and retain new drivers.
ABOUT YOU Successful Scotlynn Candidates Have:
  •  Experience working in the transportation industry, preferably in recruitment
  • Experience providing fast and effective support related to trucking and dispatch inquiries
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
  • Self-driven
  • Written and verbal communication skills in multiple languages are considered an asset, but not required

HOW YOU'LL SUCCEED WITH SCOTLYNN
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
  • Solid knowledge of computers, social media
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel is a must
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

YOUR COMMITMENT
  • This is a full-time, permanent role
  • Work from 8 am - 5 pm Monday-Friday, with occasional need for afterhours and weekends to support hiring events
