Overview

We are looking for a people-forward General Manager to join our high-volume quick service restaurant located in Kanata. We have a strong reputation of taking great care of our managers and providing a long-term, stable job. A position just opened up after a long tenure and we're eager to find the perfect fit for our team.

The role requires two key components: an excellent, guest-facing personality with the ability to lead with kindness, as well as the ability to manage costs at a high-level. This is a very busy location and requires a leader dedicated to systems.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality service
  • Manage food cost and labour at a high-level. Weekly counts, key item counts and proper usage of scheduling software.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards in the kitchen and dining areas
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure an exceptional guest experience. Every guest matters.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and oversee food safety protocols
  • Assist with food service operations during busy periods as needed, including serving customers when required

Requirements

  • A veteran leader would excel and be thrilled with this role. Experience will certainly help, but we are absolutely willing to give a shot to the younger candidate who knocks our socks off. It's a veteran team; we need someone who can motivate people.
  • Inventory control and ordering experience. We want someone to nitpick the numbers
  • Available to work dinners and weekends as required. Don't 'll respect your days off

Compensation:

  • Our compensation will start hourly (with a guaranteed full time schedule), with a wage that reflects the candidates experience. Our goal is to quickly develop our leader into a salaried leader, and we have compensate our salaried leaders well above market value.
