At Flowise, our team is dedicated to simplifying the creation of AI solutions. Our low-code platform makes it easy to build powerful chatbots and autonomous agents. By abstracting complex frameworks into intuitive visual components, we enable users to create sophisticated AI workflows without extensive coding knowledge.

With Workday's recent acquisition, we will provide customers with an easy-to-use platform to quickly and responsibly build and deploy AI agents for HR and finance. This partnership also empowers partners to build faster, expand their offerings, and deliver quicker value to shared customers.

About the Role

We're looking for a Frontend Software Engineer who is passionate about building exceptional user experiences. As a core member of our team, you'll be instrumental in shaping the visual identity and interaction design of our platform. We highly value UI/UX, and you will contribute to the visual flow builder and chat interfaces, ensuring they are functional, intuitive, and delightful for users to work with.

• Develop Frontend Solutions: Design, develop, and improve the user experience for the Flowise application. You'll contribute to our visual flow builder and chat interfaces, ensuring they are scalable and performant.

• Innovate and Execute: Help us make Flowise the best visual low-code tool for building AI agents. You will implement features across our open-source, cloud, and enterprise versions, contributing to the platform's evolution by staying current with the latest industry trends and technologies.

• Collaborate and Implement: Work closely with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to define requirements and implement effective solutions that align with the platform's vision.

• Drive Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code. You will participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

• Solve Problems: Proactively identify and resolve issues within the user interface to ensure optimal functionality. You'll work through problems with a team-first mentality and be comfortable learning on the fly.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with our core stack: JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS.

• A portfolio or body of work demonstrating experience in building complex, interactive user interfaces.

Other Qualifications:

• UI/UX Skills: Solid understanding of frontend state management, component-based architecture, and performance optimization. You have a passion for crafting beautiful and highly functional user experiences.

• Backend Fundamentals: Familiarity with backend development in the ecosystem, including knowledge of database schemas and data modeling.

• Testing & Tooling: Experience using testing frameworks like Jest, Enzyme, or React Testing Library and familiarity with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Parcel, or Rollup.

• Collaboration & Problem-Solving: A successful track record of working effectively within fast-paced, cross-functional teams. You are a clear communicator and have a collaborative spirit.

• DevOps & Infrastructure: Familiarity with modern software development practices, including automated testing, observability, and CI/CD. Experience with containerization (Docker) is a plus.

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
