Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival, creating a welcoming environment
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately record vehicle issues and service requests
- Explain repair and maintenance options clearly, including necessary services and upselling additional repairs when appropriate
- Prepare detailed work orders and communicate customer needs to the service technicians effectively
- Provide accurate estimates of repair costs and turnaround times
- Handle cash transactions securely and maintain accurate financial records
- Follow up with customers regarding vehicle status, additional services needed, or future maintenance recommendations
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through attentive service and professional communication
- Maintain thorough knowledge of automotive repair procedures, dealership services, and current promotions
Qualifications
- Prior experience in an automotive dealership or repair shop is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicles and automotive systems is highly advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required
