Process Engineer

We are looking for a Process Engineer to help scale and optimize our wire production processes as we continue our rapid growth.
As a Process Engineer, you'll play a critical role in scaling up production and improving operational efficiency for our wire and finished goods manufacturing lines. Working cross-functionally with production, quality, R&D, and operations teams, you'll help drive process improvements, reduce variability, and ensure high-quality output in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Production Optimization & Process Engineering
- Analyze and improve wire production processes including drawing, annealing, etching, shaping, and finishing
- Identify bottlenecks, implement lean improvements, and reduce waste across manufacturing operations
- Support the scale-up of production from pilot to full-scale
- Maintain and update process documentation as part of QMS requirements
Quality & Technical Problem Solving
- Collaborate with the Quality team to improve process capability and resolve root causes of defects
- Develop and monitor in-process quality control metrics and support SPC initiatives
- Lead DOE and other data-driven investigations into process performance
Cross-functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with R&D, operations, and procurement teams to support the development and transfer of new products into production
- Recommend and implement upgrades to equipment or processes to improve safety, throughput, or yield
- Contribute to internal audits, corrective actions, and quality improvement programs
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Materials, Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (or similar field)
- 2–5 years of experience in a process, manufacturing, or production engineering role (recent grads will not be considered)
- Familiarity with QMS systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO and statistical tools (e.g., Minitab, SPC)
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, process validation, and root cause analysis techniques
- Self-motivated and able to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced production environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Hands-on experience with wire processing technologies (e.g., drawing, annealing, etching, shaping) is an asset
