About the Role

The PMO Analyst will play a key role in supporting financial planning, project reporting, and governance activities across technology and business initiatives within RBC. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills who can collaborate effectively with both technology and finance stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting, Planning & Forecasting

• Support project and program teams by maintaining and updating financials within project management tools.
• Validate financial data with Finance teams and investigate any variances.
• Assist senior leaders in the annual planning process for financials and resource allocation.

Project Finance Subject Matter Expert

• Serve as the primary contact for project finance–related inquiries.
• Partner with Project Managers to prepare and maintain financial tracking templates and ensure financial accuracy across initiatives.

Project Reporting & Analytics

• Generate and distribute project financial, resource, and status reports using tools such as Tableau.
• Develop and maintain dashboards to support leadership decision-making and portfolio oversight.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Familiarity with project management tools
  such as MS Project, Jira/Confluence, or Asana
• Experience with Tableau
  or similar business intelligence/reporting tools
• Strong
  financial reporting and analysis
  experience; accounting background preferred
• Excellent
  communication and interpersonal skills
  , with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams
• Highly
  organized and detail-oriented
  , able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree
  in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications
  such as CPA, PMP, or a Master's degree in a relevant field
• Prior experience in a
  PMO or project finance role
  within a large enterprise or financial institution
