About you:
Are you passionate about marine and mechanical systems? Coast Claims Insurance Services is seeking a Marine Surveyor or Adjuster to join our experienced marine team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in marine insurance and surveying while working alongside seasoned professionals.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of marine systems.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Conduct comprehensive investigations, including site visits, inspections interviews, and documentation reviews, to evaluate insurance claims.
  • Analyze insurance policies to determine coverage and applicable limits.
  • Collaborate with field experts, contractors, and other relevant parties to assess property damage and estimate repair costs.
  • Effectively manage a diverse portfolio of claim files

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in marine, mechanical, or insurance fields is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Ontario.
  • Ability to work under pressure with a sense of urgency and responsiveness.
  • A strong aptitude for technology and excellent computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office 365.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
