The RV business differs from the automotive business in the following aspects: An RV is basically a house on wheels that has propane and electrical appliances. Repairs may consist of mechanical or chassis work, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, propane gas, appliance repair, body work, and welding.
Since the chassis, coach, appliances, and accessories on each vehicle are manufactured by different companies, in many cases parts and warranty for the same vehicle must be obtained from various different sources. Manufacturers are located outside of the country; therefore, parts ordered may take longer to arrive. Due to the various types of repair and lag time from suppliers, scheduling and warranty take coordination.
Company Description:
Outdoor Travel is a growing recreational vehicle dealership that caters to a broad market. There is a sales department (selling everything from entry level trailers to motorhomes and coaches), finance department, accessories store, rental department, and service department.
