Your expertise will help transform blueprints into solid frameworks, ensuring safety and stability for every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team committed to excellence in construction.
Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install steel studs and framing components according to detailed blueprints and schematics
- Erect metal framing structures efficiently while maintaining strict safety standards
- Use hand tools and power tools such as drills, saws, and welding equipment to shape and secure framing materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate framing layouts
- Assist with related tasks including concrete forming, rebar installation, drywall installation, and finishing work as needed
- Operate heavy equipment safely for lifting and positioning steel components
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate construction activities on-site
Experience
- Proven experience in metal building erection, steel stud framing, or related construction roles
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings specific to framing projects
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and heavy equipment operation
- Knowledge of construction management principles and safety protocols on active job sites
- Skills in rebar installation, concrete forming, masonry work, roofing, siding, plastering or stucco are advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
- Strong background in carpentry disciplines such as frame carpentry, trim carpentry, woodworking or remodeling projects
