Temporary Specialized Support Classroom Teacher - Central Park Elementary School

Applications are invited for a Full Time Temporary (1.00 FTE) Teacher at Central Park Elementary School with duties to commence February 9, 2026, and concluding on June 29, 2026.

We are seeking a dynamic and relationship-focused teacher to lead the Heart and Fire Specialized Support Classroom at Central Park Elementary. This unique role is ideal for an educator passionate about trauma-informed practice, inclusive education, and culturally responsive teaching. The teacher will work closely with a Heart and Fire Mentor (Outreach) and Educational Associate to provide intensive support for students who require additional social-emotional and academic intervention.
The successful candidate will co-create a safe, welcoming, and culturally affirming classroom environment rooted in Indigenous teachings, land-based learning, and strong family-school-community connections. Qualifications:
Bachelor of Education
Valid Saskatchewan teaching certification
Registration with the Saskatchewan Professional Teachers' Regulatory Board (SPTRB)
