About the Position
As a Data Scientist at Naryant, you will be at the forefront of leveraging data-driven insights
to solve complex problems and drive innovation. In this role, you will work with large and
diverse datasets, applying advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to extract
valuable insights and create predictive models, as well as supporting technical architecture and data engineering work.
Responsibilities
- Support senior team members in collecting, cleaning, and preparing data from various sources for analysis.
- Conduct EDA (exploratory data analysis) using SQL, Python, and Excel to identify patterns and insights.
- Apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques to solve business problems under guidance.
- Create visualizations and dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries.
- Develop data processing scripts in Python to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
- Assist with building predictive models and analytical solutions for client projects.
- Document analytical processes, code, and findings to support knowledge sharing and reproducibility.
- Present results to team members and clients in clear, understandable formats.
- Translate complex analytical findings into compelling narratives and actionable recommendations for diverse audiences.
- Support data engineering work through developing ETL scripts in Python or other languages.
- Collaborate with team members across projects to deliver high-quality analytical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in data analysis or data science roles preferred.
- Recent graduates with relevant projects are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and statistical modeling.
- Working knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Python plotting libraries.
- Understanding of fundamental statistical concepts and analytical methods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
- Good communication and writing skills with ability to explain technical concepts clearly and tell stories with data.
- Ability to work collaboratively and take direction from senior team members.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure preferred) is an asset.
