Role Description

This is a contract hybrid role for a Social Media Manager based in Winnipeg, MB, with some flexibility for remote work. The Social Media Manager will develop and execute social media strategies, create engaging content tailored to specific audiences, and optimize social media channels to drive engagement and brand awareness. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing social media accounts, analyzing performance metrics, collaborating with clients and team members, and staying updated on trends in social media and digital marketing to enhance the company's overall online presence. Content capture (video/photo), content creation (design/brand) is required.

Looking for candidates in both Winnipeg, MB and Calgary, AB, Canada - as some on location work will be required.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO)
  • Proficiency in creating and implementing effective Content Strategies
  • Excellent Communication and Writing abilities
  • Experience analyzing performance data and optimizing campaigns
  • Knowledge of emerging social media trends and tools
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
  • Background in small business marketing is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
