The incumbent is responsible for analyzing the company from an economic and financial point of view, in order to inform and advise the management team. He/she is responsible for helping the management team to make the right decisions that have a positive impact on the company, and for implementing all necessary actions to enable the company to achieve its operational and financial objectives, and thus ensure continued growth.

Your role:

  • Analyze results and margins in order to provide relevant information to management;
  • Manage the performance of team members in order to mobilize them;
  • Be the reference in the industry for the efficient production of recharging invoices to customers;
  • Identify the skills to be mastered by his team, and ensure the development of the next generation through continuous improvement;
  • Participate as required, in collaboration with internal partners, in key company processes;
  • Have a good knowledge of accounting rules, GST/QST, DAS, passenger tax, tax pay;
  • Strictly respect and ensure compliance with safety standards, company rules, quality standards and work procedures in force;
  • Participate actively in the management committee;
  • Perform all other related tasks

Your responsibilities:

  • Ensure the integration of financial controls into corporate processes and policies for sound financial management;
  • Optimize the use and maintenance of accounting systems;
  • Evaluate the financial risks associated with all proposals, agreements and contracts signed by and on behalf of the company, according to the established approval process;
  • Establish the various prime rates to be used in defining sales prices with expected margins;
  • Monitor cash flow, prepare official documents and reports for management and shareholders;
  • Set performance standards and ensure sound collaboration with financial partners (Bank and Auditors);
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and legislation;
  • Ensure that balance sheet accounts are balanced;
  • Study various accounting reports and follow up with the appropriate managers;
  • Perform all other related tasks

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years experience;
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance;
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation (an asset);
  • Knowledge of aeronautics (an asset);
  • Bilingual (French and English spoken);
  • Knowledge of MS Dynamics GP software (an asset)
