Plumber

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in various plumbing techniques. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. The Plumber will work closely with other tradespeople and must be able to read blueprints and schematics effectively.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
• Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with local codes.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete plumbing tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
• Perform heavy lifting as required for the installation of plumbing systems.
• Collaborate with carpenters and HVAC technicians on construction projects.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding plumbing issues and solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience in plumbing or a related field is required
• Must be a licensed Plumber
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as necessary for installations.
• Valid Driver license is required
• Willingness to learn new skills and techniques in the plumbing trade.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
