A global automation machine manufacturer is looking for a Licensed Millwright in the Grimsby, ON area. This position is a direct hired and permanent position.

We are currently looking for someone who already has the Millwright license / Industrial Mechanic Millwright 433A. A minimum of 3 years Industrial Maintenance experience with automation machines and tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities for Millwright with 433Alicense:

  • Maintain coordinated effort and communication to ensure mill runs efficiently
  • Supervise a group of mechanics and their daily tasks to make sure that projects run smoothly
  • Meet productivity goals in a safe and consistent manner
  • Recommend new operating procedures within the mechanical area, or in conjunction with the Mechanical Assembly shop
  • Operating various machinery, such as hoisting and lifting devices, as needed
  • Ensure all mechanical inventory parts are recorded in inventory
  • Cleaning, lubricating, and performing other routine maintenance work on machinery
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematic drawings
  • Other duties assigned by managers

Qualifications for Millwright with 433A license:

  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Millwright in the automation machinery environment
  • Possesses Millwright license / Industrial Mechanic Millwright 433A
  • Clean driver's license record and full G driver license in Canada (This is requirement because you sometimes visit the clients' location to troubleshoot machines)
  • Able to operate, assemble, repair and adjust equipment
  • Must have excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Self-motivated able to work on different types of machinery
  • This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
