The Lake Louise Ski Resort is a world-class ski area nestled in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. We are a year-round operation in the tourism industry, operating as a ski resort in the winter months and as a sightseeing gondola in the summer months.

Job Description:

The Server will be responsible for providing consistently high-levels of customer service to all outlet guests by ensuring prompt service, accurate orders, and a strong working knowledge of all menu items and daily specials. The server shall perform these duties in a friendly and professional manner at all times, and ensure that each guest has an enjoyable dining experience. Other responsibilities will include the proper setting of tables, removing used dishes and place settings, assisting with cleaning duties, accurate daily cash outs and complying with AGLC legislation. Other front of house positions may also be available and will be discussed at interview. 

Job Responsibilities:

Provide friendly, efficient & professional table service to guestsIncrease daily sales at every opportunityEfficient use of Maitre'D POSMenu knowledge including beer, wine, spirits & specialsCash handling and processing a variety of transactions including debit, credit and company accountsEnsure excellent quality of products & services offered at all timesGuarantee cleanliness & maintenance of all outlet areas at all times including restroomsRegularly communicate with your peers & supervisors to ensure the overall success of the outlet

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

Strong problem-solving skillsAbility to work under pressure Punctuality and reliability are essentialMust be in good physical healthStrong cash handling skills, must possess the ability to balance cash-outs accuratelyMinimum 2-5 years serving experience in a high volume environment Fine dining experience an assetBartending experience an assetIntermediate skiing or snowboarding experience highly regardedMust possess the desire to provide a high level of genuine customer serviceProServe certification and working knowledge of AGLC legislation 

Work Schedule:

5 On/ 2 Off – business level dependent

Must be able to commit to the position until the end of the Winter 25/26 season

Dress Code:

Employee to provide their own: black dress pants, black polishable non-slip shoes, black socks as per Appearance Policy as well as personal bottle opener

Uniform shirt to be purchased from LLSR
