About the Role

The
Digital Engineering Architect
will define and implement the digital engineering vision across the entire asset lifecycle—from design and construction to operations and maintenance. This role requires deep technical expertise in engineering systems architecture and integration of advanced technologies to enable seamless data flow, collaboration, and lifecycle traceability. You will work closely with engineering, IT, project management, and EPC partners to deliver innovative solutions aligned with the
Strategic Transformation Roadmap (STR)
.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Engineering Architecture & Integration

• Develop and maintain
  enterprise-level digital engineering architecture
  , ensuring scalability and compliance.
• Architect and integrate
  PLM, CAD, BIM, GIS, IoT, and digital twin technologies
  for end-to-end asset visibility.
• Lead design, selection, and implementation of engineering platforms such as:
• Siemens Teamcenter
  ,
  SAP PLM
  ,
  Autodesk
  ,
  Bentley
  ,
  Aveva
  ,
  Hexagon
  ,
  ESRI
  .
• Define and enforce
  engineering data models, standards, and integration patterns
  to ensure data quality and regulatory compliance.
• Enable advanced capabilities such as
  3D/4D visualization
  ,
  model-based systems engineering (MBSE)
  , and IoT-enabled monitoring.

Solution Delivery & Process Optimization

• Translate complex business and engineering requirements into
  digital solutions
  that improve project delivery and asset management.
• Collaborate with EPC partners to optimize workflows, reduce rework, and accelerate timelines.
• Conduct
  workshops, training, and knowledge transfer sessions
  for engineering and project teams.
• Ensure solutions comply with
  cybersecurity, governance, and data management standards
  .

Project Management & Agile Delivery

• Support
  agile ceremonies
  , sprint planning, and backlog prioritization for digital engineering workstreams.
• Track and report progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Drive
  continuous improvement initiatives
  across engineering processes and technology adoption.

Thought Leadership & Continuous Learning

• Stay current with emerging trends in
  digital engineering, PLM, BIM, CAD, GIS, IoT, and digital twins
  .
• Represent at
  industry forums and consortiums
  , sharing best practices and innovations.
• Mentor internal teams to build a
  future-ready digital engineering workforce
  .

Required Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience:

• 10+ years
  in digital engineering or engineering systems architecture.
• 5+ years
  in a lead or architect role delivering enterprise-scale solutions.
• Technical Expertise:
• Proven experience integrating
  PLM, CAD, BIM, GIS, IoT, and digital twin technologies
  .
• Hands-on experience with platforms such as
  Teamcenter, SAP PLM, Autodesk, Bentley, Aveva, Hexagon, ESRI
  .
• Strong understanding of
  engineering lifecycle management
  , data governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Methodologies:
• Familiarity with
  Agile delivery
  ,

  model-based engineering practices
  .
• Soft Skills:
