Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our woodworking and cabinetry team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting custom cabinets and furniture, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship, precision, and adherence to project specifications. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial installations, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques to produce exceptional finished products.

Duties

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately produce cabinetry and woodwork.
  • Cut, shape, assemble, and install cabinets using hand tools, power tools, and other woodworking equipment.
  • Measure materials precisely to ensure proper fit and finish according to project specifications.
  • Perform concrete forming, masonry work, or flooring installation as needed for integrated projects.
  • Assist with restoration projects involving wood refinishing or cabinetry repair.
  • Install cabinetry on-site, including precise alignment and secure fastening.
  • Conduct finishing tasks such as sanding, staining, painting, or caulking to achieve desired aesthetic results.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople such as plumbers or electricians for seamless project completion.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols related to heavy lifting and the use of power tools.

Skills

  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction estimating documents.
  • Experience with woodworking techniques including cabinetry assembly, hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and hand tool operation.
  • Knowledge of construction painting, restoration processes, flooring installation, tile laying, siding installation, roofing basics, rebar installation, masonry skills, and general construction practices.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a construction or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with electrical experience or plumbing is a plus for integrated project tasks.
  • Maintenance Person experience is advantageous for versatile project support.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship skills in woodworking and cabinetry fabrication. This position offers an engaging work environment where craftsmanship meets innovation. Candidates should be committed to quality work and safety standards while contributing to diverse projects that challenge their skills across multiple trades within the construction industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
