Working together to provide outstanding integrated health care to our communities delivering best patient outcomes with exemplary standards and compassion, Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) is a multi-site organization that includes Huntsville District Memorial Hospital Site and South Muskoka Memorial Hospital Site.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION(S)

  • Secondary School Diploma.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE(S)

  • Positive attitude to changing environment.
  • Good working relationships and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work well under direct supervision or independently
  • Proven record of excellent punctuality and attendance
  • Must meet physical requirements of the position which includes lifting, standing and walking for long periods of time.

DESIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE(S) & EDUCATION

  • Food Service Worker Certificate.
  • Food Handler Certificate.
  • Healthcare food service experience.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Location(s): South Muskoka Memorial Hospital (SMMH). Applicants must reside within 125km of one of our hospital campuses or be willing to relocate prior to starting. *Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis

Department: Food & Nutrition Services.

Hours of Work: Must be available to work shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends. Shifts and hours may change according to departmental requirements per the collective agreement.
