As our in-office point person, you'll manage employee requests, oversee our physical space, and collaborate with building contacts, vendors, and internal teams. You'll contribute to the efficient day-to-day operations of our facility and be a champion for corporate culture. Your goal will be to create a welcoming and collaborative environment that enhances employee experiences.

As the People Operations Specialist, you'll coordinate seamless administrative functions and engaging events while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. From managing office logistics to supporting our people team and organizing memorable events, you'll play a vital role in cultivating a vibrant workplace culture.

This role is mostly in-office out of our North Vancouver location. There is some limited flexibility to work from home occasionally.

Qualifications

  • Previous office administration, human resources or related experience is
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite ("Microsoft365") is
  • Previous experience with general IT troubleshooting and support
  • Post-secondary education is considered an asset

Job Duties:

Office Administration and Operations:

  • Assist in maintaining a welcoming, clean, and well-maintained office environment.
  • Assist in producing reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, including scheduling, reservations, and resource allocation.
  • Maintain and update office records, databases, and inventory.
  • Coordinate office repairs, maintenance, and renovations.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and emergency procedures.
  • Support negotiation of contracts and agreements for office-related services and amenities.

Employee Engagement and Coordination:

  • Foster a positive workplace culture through activities that promote employee engagement and well-being.
  • Organize and execute meetings, workshops, and social
