Position Overview: The Membership Services Administrator plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day engagement and retention of members within the BC Landscape & Nursery Association. This position requires excellent customer service skills, high attention to detail, and strong data management capabilities. The role supports membership satisfaction, maintains accurate member records, and contributes to the planning and delivery of member events. This individual will work closely with the Membership Outreach Coordinator to ensure a seamless and welcoming experience for current and prospective members.

Key Responsibilities: · Serve as the primary point of contact for member inquiries and support

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with members
  • Manage and update the member database to ensure data accuracy
  • Lead the membership renewal processes and communications
  • Lead onboarding of new members and introduce them to the commodity coordinator
  • Assist with event coordination, registration, and onsite support
  • Generate reports related to membership engagement and data integrity
  • Collaborate with the Membership Outreach Coordinator to support recruitment and sponsorship activities
  • Lead resource for Member Event Committee - organize meetings, take minutes, work with ED on agenda

Qualifications: · Diploma in business administration, office administration, communications, non-profit management, or public relations, or a related field is required. Bachelor's degree is an asset but not required.

  • Proven customer service experience with a member- or client-focused mindset
  • Proficiency in CRM or database systems (Salesforce experience an asset)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable with communicating via online chats, phone, and email
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
