For the past century, HPS has grown to deliver electrical power solutions to global markets and provides solutions for complex applications like, mining, rectifier, drives, traction, wind, solar and many other electrical power applications. The world relies on HPS to continually conceive and produce state-of-the-art transformer technology. We currently have an opening for a Internal Auditor (Finance), come grow with us 

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Internal Auditor (Finance) is responsible for providing independent, objective assurance and consulting services that enhance organizational operations by evaluating and improving risk management, control, and governance processes. The majority of the role involves conducting corporate and subsidiary audits, followed by specialized audits such as IT, pension, and anti-corruption audits, and supporting ad hoc financial and operational requests. Additionally, the role includes developing and presenting an annual audit plan based on organizational risk areas.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Lead corporate and subsidiary audits across various business cycles, including ICFR testing and reporting findings to the Audit Committee (50%).
• Conduct specialized audits (e.g., IT, pension, anti-corruption, expense reports) and support investigations and external audit coordination (25%).
• Provide ad hoc support to finance and operations teams, including analysis, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration (15%).
• Develop and present the annual audit plan based on organizational risk areas and schedule site visits (10%).

Do you qualify? We are seeking:

• 2+ years of Internal Auditing experience 
• Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field – required
•  Certifications:
  • CPA – desirable
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) - desirable
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of public company regulatory compliance requirements
• Knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel at an intermediate to advanced level
• Superior organizational, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
