About the Role:

We're currently hiring casual pet sitters and dog walkers to help provide loving care for dogs (and sometimes cats) throughout the week. Whether you'd prefer to walk dogs, care for pets in their homes, or do a little of both — we're open. This is an especially flexible role, and you choose your schedule.

This is a casual position with in-consistent hours. You are able to accept and reject job requests as you'd like as well.

Some common times of service requests are 10am-2pm weekdays.

High seasons for pet sitting: June-August and November - March

What you might do:

-Private on-leash dog walks in neighbourhoods or group walks at fenced parks

-Drop-in visits for feeding, playtime, medication administration, and snuggles

-Overnight or extended pet sitting in client homes OR/AND in your own home

-Communicate with clients through our app with warmth, enthusiasm, professionalism, trust, and transparency

-Provide updates, photos, and notes from services through our app

-Respond to service requests via email if you are available

-Post on social media, take social media content & dress up dogs for holidays

-Perform in-person meetings with pet sitting clients

Who You Are:

-A genuine animal lover with experience caring for pets

-Reliable, responsible, enthusiastic and communicative

-Communicative with availability – daytime, lunches, evenings, weekends

-Comfortable using a smartphone and our app for updates and scheduling

-Have your own vehicle (SUV preferred) and a valid driver's license

-Can pass a background check and provide references

Nice to Have (but not required):

-Experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments

-Confidence caring for cats and administering basic medications

-Pet first aid or relevant certifications (can take this course with us and be reimbursed as well)

Pay: $100.00-$400.00 per month
