Specializing in physiotherapy and various complementary therapies, we provide personalized care tailored to individual needs. Our clinic offers a range of services, such as TCM acupuncture, running assessments, yoga therapy, kinesiology, corporate wellness services, and registered massage therapy. We focus on rehabilitation and preventative care by addressing the root causes of discomfort and promoting the mind-body connection, ensuring a thoughtful and sustainable approach to health and wellness.
Role Description
This part-time role is for a Licensed Physiotherapist, located in Downtown Vancouver, BC. The role will be to take over an existing caseload from an experienced Physiotherapist who is moving out of country. With over 25 years in the Downtown Corps, we have a solid reputation for providing high level care to the Downtown community. With an increasing number of clients coming back to work in the office now and even more in New Year, we are looking to support the increasing demand on our services.
The Licensed Physiotherapist will be responsible for providing Physiotherapy Assessment and Treatment at our Downtown Vancouver location. Daily tasks include assessing clients' needs, developing individualized treatment plans, maintaining accurate client records, and working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to support clients on their wellness journey.
Qualifications
- Licensed to practice Physiotherapy in BC.
- Advanced Manual Therapy Skills, an asset.
- Needling, including IMS and/or Acupuncture, an asset.
- Experience with Integrated Systems Model (ISM) and/or Connect Therapy, an asset.
- Skill in Movement Based therapy, such as Pilates and/or Yoga, an asset.
- Interest in Fascia, Cranial Therapy, and/or Running Injuries, an asset.
- Qualified in Pelvic Health, an asset.
- Customer Service skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Registered and in good standing with the regulatory body of Physiotherapy (CCHPBC)
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
