  • 4 years of experience in contingent workforce solutions and improving, optimizing operational performance through supplier engagement practices.
  • Experience in identifying, developing, and executing on operational improvement initiatives to deliver exceptional solutions.
  • Experience in handling multiple, simultaneous projects under pressure, tight deadlines, and competing priorities.
  • Experience working within cross functional teams in supplier engagement activities.
  • Ability to distill, prioritize, and present complex business analysis and recommendations at executive levels.
  • Ability to influence others to drive efficiencies and improvements.

gTech's Extended Workforce Solutions (xWS) team empowers Product Areas (PAs) to optimize outsourced operations while reducing risks and driving efficiency through the enforcement of Google best practices and policies. We advocate for informed decision-making, ensuring our partners find the right talent in the right locations. Our collaboration across Google leads to streamlined processes, minimizing administrative burdens and optimizing the extended workforce (xW) experience. As a Supplier Engagement Manager, you will collaborate with large cross-functional suppliers who translate and deliver service offerings utilized by our product areas. You will be instrumental in achieving our goals by working with suppliers operating at scale across Alphabet, continuously driving efficient ways of working while simultaneously managing risks and overseeing the regulatory compliance agenda. You will operate as part of a cross-functional team, both internal to extended workforce (e.g., risk and compliance, partner engagement) and within the product areas to drive efficiencies and implement risk mitigation strategies across our supplier base. You will be tasked with driving multiple concurrent high priority initiatives to enhance the experience of product areas within the contingent workforce space.

Responsibilities:
  • Gather and use data to manage supplier relationships across Alphabet which are targeted at encouraging and enhancing better contingent workforce management and practices.
  • Manage large stakeholder groups to ensure alignment across our supplier engagement activities.
  • Enhance internal product areas experience when working with extended workforce and help drive a cohesive approach to supplier engagement.
  • Contribute to the development of the extended workforce supplier engagement strategy and delivery approach. Pressure tests different ways of working and creating outside of the box solutions that will change the way Alphabet manages the extended workforce space.
  • Work with product areas and suppliers to drive supplier engagement practices.
