Position Overview:

Kanex is currently seeking a skilled Ironworker/Welder to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be experienced in structural steel erection, reading and interpreting engineered drawings, and working in both shop and field environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret steel shop drawings and engineered structural steel blueprints
  • Erect and install structural steel components safely and efficiently
  • Perform welding using FCAW and SMAW processes
  • Maintain high standards of safety and quality
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project goals and timelines

Qualifications:

  • CWB Certified Welder (FCAW & SMAW)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in welding and structural steel erection
  • Ability to read and interpret shop and engineered drawings
  • Comfortable working both in the shop and on-site in the field
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Must be able to pass a criminal record check (required for an upcoming project)
