We are recruiting a Health Care Aid to join our nursing support team for a pre-school age child on Gabriola Island, BC. Shifts are provided in the clients home and we are looking to fill 8hr overnight shifts. Job duties would entail monitoring the child and responding to health care needs, personal care, and resettling child.

-Specialty training and all travel associated with attending a 1-day course at BC Children's Hospital to learn a CPAP device is sponsored with a minimum commitment.

Qualifications:

  • Health Care Assistant Certificate and Registration with BC Care Aide Registry
  • Valid CPR 'C' certification or better
  • Experience with children
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written interpersonal communication skill.
