Position Overview

We're looking for a dependable and professional Part-Time Cannabis Delivery Driver and Budtender to join our team. This part-time, permanent role offers 18-25 hours per week, with shifts scheduled during our opening hours (see below). In this role, you'll deliver cannabis products to customers in and around the Aurora area, while ensuring safe and timely service. The ideal candidate is highly organized, familiar with local routes, and committed to exceptional customer service.

Flexibility within the following hours required:

  • Monday to Wednesday from 1:00pm – 7:00pm
  • Thursday to Saturday from 1:00pm – 8:00pm
  • Sunday from 1:00pm – 5:30pm

Responsibilities as a Delivery Driver

  • Safe Delivery: Transport cannabis products to customers, adhering to all provincial cannabis transport regulations.
  • Compliance and Verification: Verify customer identification, maintain accurate delivery logs and receipts, and complete necessary records for each delivery.
  • Timely Communication: Coordinate with dispatch and management for efficient delivery schedules.
  • Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional service on every delivery.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip inspections, reporting any maintenance needs to ensure a safe journey.
  • Security Compliance: Follow strict security protocols for the safe handling of products.
  • Responsible Driving: Abide by all traffic laws and company policies to ensure responsible vehicle operation.

Responsibilities as a Budtender

  • Customer Assistance: Welcome customers, provide information on products, and assist in product selection to ensure a positive and informed purchase.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cannabis products, strains, effects, and trends to accurately answer customer questions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Verify customer identification and ensure all transactions comply with provincial regulations and company policies.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in restocking shelves, managing displays, and organizing products to keep the store neat and fully stocked.
  • Sales Transactions: Process sales efficiently and accurately using the POS system.
  • Education and Engagement: Engage with customers to build rapport and provide a welcoming and respectful shopping environment.
Requirements
  • CannSell certification (or willingness to obtain it)
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check
  • Clean driving record and full G license
  • Reliable personal vehicle for deliveries
  • Minimum age of 19
