Senior Electrical Designer

The Senior Electrical Designer plays a key role in developing electrical layouts and schematics for a variety of projects.

A Typical Day

  • Develop electrical schematics and layouts (SLD, lighting, power distribution, etc.)
  • Prepare technical reports (Ex. power studies, ArcFlash) for review
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and team success

Successful Candidates Will Have

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or technologist diploma (electrical focus).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in an engineering environment
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite AGI32, SKM, and BIM 360 are assets.
  • Familiarity with CEC, OESC, ESA, CSA standards
  • Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
