The Department of English in the College of Arts and Science invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer, half-term position, to assist in teaching the following course during the Winter 2026 Regular session:
Course Number, Section, and Name: ENG Introduction to Creative Writing
Term and Course Dates: Winter Session 2026; term of employment is February 23 through April 30

Delivery Mode: This course is offered as a Lecture with Tutorials.
Course Schedule: Lectures are Tuesdays, 11:30 AM - 12:50 PM.
Expected Enrollment Limit: 100
Qualifications: Minimum of MFA in Writing or equivalent, with experience in teaching creative writing.
More information: The sessional lecturer will be responsible for Lectures during the period of appointment, with guidance from the primary instructor. The primary instructor will continue to supervise Tutorials. The sessional lecturer should also expect to assist with grading final portfolios for the class (April 7-30).
A valid driver's license is required for off-campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
