This is a 6 months contract - Part-time 3 days a week (22,5h). The employee will be required to cover 9 AM to 5 PM EST to support Ontario banners.

Here's Where You'll Have An Impact

  • Responsible to analyze t-log information from stores on a weekly basis and identify any opportunities.
  • Provide advice, guidance, and training to store management pertaining to Loss Prevention.
  • Actively contribute to a positive and productive working environment
  • Configure and maintain standards, thresholds, parameters, and key performance indicators within the Exception Based Reporting (EBR) system.
  • Maintain and distribute the exception-based reports and dashboards.
  • Maintain store groupings (region, banner, specific group, and store)
  • Analyze t-log information and identify areas of opportunity.
  • Analyze point of sale transactions and investigate irregular transactions.
  • Provide advice, guidance, and direction to store and front-end managers; dealing with exception reports and irregular transactions and loss prevention.
  • Make decisions on when exceptions or irregular transactions need to be passed on to investigators.
  • Work in collaboration with Loss Prevention and Operations during their investigation process.
  • Facilitate system training.
  • Support the EBR vendor delivery including updates and upgrades to the program.
  • Create work tickets and screenshots for support teams to resolve EBR performance issues.
  • Support team training courses and Operational meetings by presenting content related to the execution of EBR support for store performance.
  • Track the benefits and ROI of the retail exception-based reporting system.
  • Participate in district operational meetings as required.
  • Liaison with Operation teams from all banners relating to Exception.
  • Work with store management to provide loss prevention guidance.

What You Bring To The Table

  • An Undergraduate Degree is an asset
  • Two years of relevant experience
  • Strong Knowledge of the NCR ACS six point of sale system
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to understand and interpret T-Logs
  • Excellent analytical skills and investigative intuition
  • Ability to multi task
  • Ability to work independently
  • Above average oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information
