Toronto, Ontario, Canada Swift Medical Full time

About Swift Medical

Swift Medical is transforming the future of wound care through intelligent technology that makes healthcare more human, connected, and data-driven. Chronic wounds affect millions of people worldwide, yet the burden often goes unseen, leading to preventable complications, longer hospital stays, and declining quality of life for patients and their families.

We exist to change that.

Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Toronto, Swift has grown into a global leader in digital wound management. Our mission,
"Heal Our World Faster,"
guides everything we do. Backed by the world's largest wound dataset, over 29 million wound images collected across 5,200 healthcare organizations, we provide clinicians with AI-powered tools that enhance accuracy, accelerate healing, and improve patient outcomes at scale.

Our technology combines computer vision, advanced imaging, and smart workflow design to ensure patients receive the right care, in the right place, at the right time. Whether in hospitals, long-term care, community settings, or the home, Swift enables more connected, efficient, and equitable care for patients everywhere.

How You'll Thrive at Swift

Our values shape how we work and grow together:

  • Work Together, Swiftly:
We move fast and collaborate intentionally to achieve impactful outcomes.
  • Know What You Say, Say What You Don't Know:
We communicate with honesty, clarity, and humility.
  • Amplify Positive Impact:
We empower others, celebrate collective success, and create space for every voice.

We challenge conventions and pursue ideas that push healthcare forward.
  • Set a High(er) Bar:
We continuously improve, holding ourselves to a standard of excellence and innovation.

  • Mentor and support other engineers
, providing code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.

, advocating for improvements that raise the bar for the team.
  • Model Swift's values
through clear communication, collaboration, and ownership.

    (e.g., Azure) and mobile-backend integrations.
  • Experience working with camera frameworks, imaging pipelines, or performance-critical mobile features.
  • Comfort operating in agile or iterative development environments
    .
  • Previous experience mentoring or acting as a technical lead on projects.
