REVIT/CAD Designer
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented REVIT/CAD Designer to join our multidisciplinary engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical building design, ranging from simple to complex projects, and will be proficient in using AutoCAD and Revit software. This role offers the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively on a variety of institutional, industrial, municipal, healthcare, and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and prepare mechanical reports, contract documents, drawings, and specifications for mechanical systems in various facility types.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to review blueprints and design drawings.
- Input design specifications and create surface and solid models using Revit/CAD according to client requirements.
- Work both independently and within a design team on Revit/CAD projects.
- Review models with clients, make minor adjustments, and conduct final model rendering for project delivery.
- Complete job reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Perform routine construction assignments, site surveys, and fieldwork as required.
- Assist with the development of contract documents and preliminary design concepts.
- Adhere to company employment standards, office procedures, and report progress to project managers.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of building codes, design concepts, and company standards (V&R standards).
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Design.
- REVIT/CAD certification required.
- Proven experience and advanced knowledge as a Revit/AutoCAD designer.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of building design and mechanical processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team on complex projects.
- Keen attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation:
Commensurate with experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
