Novus Glass Greater Vancouver is looking for an Automotive Glass Technician. This is a full-time role located in Aldergrove.

The primary focus of the Auto Glass Technician is to replace or repair broken windshields and window glass in motor vehicles and equipment using proper tools and methods to ensure quality installation while following all Novus Glass Safety Policies and Procedure Guidelines.

The Auto Glass Technician shall be responsible for Auto Glass Replacements, Auto Glass Repairs, safety glass installation, heating element replacement, keeping their work area clean and free of debris, and all other duties as assigned.

A day in the life of an Auto Glass Technician at Novus Glass:

  • Repair or replace glass and related materials such as windshields, rear windows, passenger door windows and vehicle heaters, while always complying with Novus Glass technical standards.
  • Replace or adjust motorized or manual window mechanisms.
  • Examine the glass for defects before installation.
  • If necessary, cut the glass to the specified patterns, or perform precision molding and cutting of the glass to fit custom replacement windows.
  • Service customers in-store and across the Fraser Valley using Novus Glass Mobile Service vehicle

Our Ideal Candidate:

At least 2 years of experience in the automotive glass repair and replacement industry

ITA certified

A strong willingness to gain certification and expand skillset

Ability to lift 75lbs routinely and ability to lift/hold above one's head and from elevated job sites

Excellent driving record as well as a valid driver's license
