We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Operations – Property Management to lead our team and ensure the smooth functioning and growth of our rental properties.

Key Responsibilities

As Director of Operations – Property Management, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing daily operations of both short-term and long-term rental properties
  • Leading and coordinating a team of full-time and part-time staff, ensuring tasks and projects are completed efficiently
  • Managing relationships with contractors, vendors, and service providers, including renovation and maintenance projects
  • Monitoring property budgets, analyzing financial performance, and identifying opportunities to optimize revenue
  • Developing operational policies, procedures, and standards to maintain high-quality service and regulatory compliance
  • Handling tenant relations, including addressing concerns, resolving disputes, and maintaining positive occupancy levels
  • Coordinating preventative maintenance programs and ensuring timely resolution of repair requests
  • Reviewing and improving workflow processes to enhance operational efficiency
  • Reporting on portfolio performance, staff productivity, and financial outcomes to senior management

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in property management, business operations, or related field.
  • Strong managerial skills with experience supervising staff and contractors.
  • Knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with short-term rental platforms (Airbnb, VRBO) and compliance requirements is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational policies and procedures.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly wage: $26 – $30 per hour
