Summary

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team at PHM Plumbing and Heating LTD as a Plumber. Located in the lower mainland, this role is vital to our mission of delivering high-quality plumbing solutions. You will contribute significantly to our projects, ensuring customer satisfaction through your expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures.
  • Testing and repairing backflow assemblies.
  • Installing and maintaining hydronic heating systems and tankless water heaters.
  • Preventative maintenance of kitchen equipment (char broilers, star burners etc).
  • Preventative maintenance of drainage systems including drain cleaning.
  • Rough in and installtion of plumbing and gas fixtures.
  • Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
  • Utilize hand and power tools effectively for various tasks.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems.
  • Collaborate with team members on renovation projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service during all interactions.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a plumber (4 years minimum) or in a similar role.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems.
  • Current backflow testing certificate.
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • General knowledge of the plumbing and gas code.
  • troubleshooting and service experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely.
  • Good physical condition for heavy lifting tasks.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

Pay: $40.00-$49.32 per hour
