About the Job

Norstar Auto & Tires is looking for a reliable and motivated General Helper / Apprentice with hands-on automotive experience.

If you have at least 1 year of experience in tire services or basic automotive repair, this role is perfect for you.

This is an excellent opportunity to grow within a professional automotive service centre.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and assist with tire changes, balancing, and repairs
  • Support with oil & filter changes
  • Assist mechanics with basic repair tasks
  • Help maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Move vehicles in/out of bay (if licensed)
  • Keep tools, parts, and equipment properly arranged

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year automotive or tire shop experience
  • Basic knowledge of tire machines, hand tools, and shop operations
  • Ability to lift tires and equipment (up to 50 lbs)
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn more
