Summary:

The Shipper/Receiver provides support to the receiving, production, and shipping processes and plays a key role in ensuring that Advanced Bending Technologies effectively and efficiently produces products safely, on-time, and meeting customer requirements.

Essential Functions for this Role are:

  • Ensure proper receiving practices are utilized
  • Ensure goods shipped are properly packaged and made ready for transport
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Working in accordance with documented policies and procedures
  • Complete all applicable quality records

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills required:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months' experience in a similar position
  • Forklift certification is an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively, tactfully, and persuasively
  • Self-starter with the ability to work efficiently in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Detail-oriented and analytical with good organizational skills
