Distinct Insurance is looking for an experienced customer service specialist with their RIBO License to join our team of passionate insurance experts

You will be the first point of contact for our rapidly expanding business and will service our current clients with all their insurance needs.

What skills you will need:

  • Advise clients on changes, claims, renewals, and resolve all concerns
  • Utilize company portals to process policy changes
  • Complete policy reviews and re-market policies on renewal if required
  • Encourage client loyalty by developing our existing relationships
  • Collect customer information and document conversations
  • Meet production and retention goals as established
  • Return all telephone and email communications daily
  • Receive and process mail when required
  • Promote a profitable book of business by adhering to underwriting guidelines of the company
  • Maintain an active insurance license and complete all continuing education as required by RIBO
  • Maintain knowledge of new product and coverage offerings
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and promote multiple lines of business
  • Provide efficient and professional customer service with attention to detail

What is preferred:

  • RIBO license or enrolment in an insurance/financial service course or program
  • Experience in customer service and sales
  • Experience in using insurance company portals
  • Experience in Applied Epic and Applied Rating Services

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
