SOCi, the leader in AI-powered marketing solutions for multi-location businesses, is currently looking for an experienced Senior Social Media Manager to join our fast-paced Marketing team. This role requires a strategic, creative, and detail-oriented individual with exceptional writing, editing, and design capabilities who can advance SOCi's brand visibility and engagement across all social platforms. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Digital Marketing, the Senior Social Media Manager will develop and execute multi-channel content strategies, lead the planning and curation of high-impact campaigns, and continuously optimize SOCi's social presence using data-driven insights. The ideal candidate brings a strong command of social media best practices, a passion for innovative storytelling, and the ability to align social initiatives with broader business objectives, ultimately supporting SOCi's continued leadership in the multi-location marketing space.

SOCi expects to pay a base salary in the range of $70,000 - $105,000 CAD base plus bonuses. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Own and lead SOCi's multi-channel social media strategy, aligning channel-level execution with company-wide business, brand, and growth priorities across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, and additional emerging platforms.
  • Oversee the creation and management of quarterly social content calendars, ensuring strategic planning, high-quality copywriting, compelling visual direction, optimized publishing, and proactive community engagement.
  • Set the long-term vision for social media at SOCi, identifying scalable content themes, audience growth strategies, and platform-specific approaches that reinforce SOCi's position as an industry leader.
  • Provide creative direction to designers and content contributors, ensuring all assets meet brand standards and effectively communicate key messages.
  • Act as a strategic partner to Product Marketing, Demand Gen, Customer Marketing, and other cross-functional teams, translating business priorities into integrated, high-impact social campaigns.
  • Own performance measurement for SOCi's social media channels, analyzing engagement, reach, sentiment, conversion, and other KPIs to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Translate data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations, continually refining strategy to strengthen results and audience impact.
  • Monitor industry trends, platform updates, competitive activity, and cultural moments to strategically position SOCi within key conversations.
  • Serve as a trusted social media advisor to executive, GTM, and partner stakeholders, consulting on thought leadership, executive presence, and modern best practices for social platforms.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine workflows, tools, and processes to improve efficiency, creative output, and performance at scale.
  • Advanced knowledge of social media best practices and platform algorithms, with the ability to apply channel-specific optimization techniques to maximize reach, engagement, and performance.
  • Hands-on proficiency with social content creation and publishing tools, including Canva and enterprise-level social media management and scheduling platforms (e.g., SOCi).

What You'll Need to be Successful

  • Hybrid Opportunity: This role is fully remote until our Vancouver, BC and Toronto, ON offices are established. Once the office is in place, it will transition to a hybrid model, with a 50/50 split between remote and in-office work.
  • Must Have:
    • 5+ years demonstrated experience in developing and executing social media strategies for B2B or SaaS brands.
  • Proven success owning social media strategy end-to-end, with a portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, creative execution, and measurable performance outcomes.
  • Deep expertise in major social platforms and analytics tools, with the ability to synthesize data into strategic, executive-ready insights.
  • Experience leading creative workflows and influencing cross-functional partners without direct authority.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills, with experience presenting strategy and insights to leadership.
  • Willing to adapt to changes in the job description as deemed necessary by the business and accept all other duties as assigned
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, PR, or related field preferred.
