Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in plumbing and related trades, providing a foundation for a career in construction, maintenance, or specialized plumbing services. The Apprentice Plumber will work under the supervision of experienced professionals to develop skills in installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, while gaining valuable industry knowledge and practical expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
  • Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing projects.
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, assemble, and install pipes and fixtures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Assist with routine maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of plumbing systems.

Qualifications

  • Basic mechanical knowledge with an interest in plumbing
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
  • Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to installation and repairs.
  • Ability to work safely around construction sites with adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Willingness to learn new skills through on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced plumbers.
  • Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license preferred for travel between job sites. This apprenticeship provides a valuable opportunity for individuals eager to build a career in plumbing by gaining practical experience while working on diverse projects under expert supervision.

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $18.43-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
