Job Overview

We're seeking a enthusiastic Baker who takes pride in creating consistent, beautiful desserts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and a strong commitment to food safety and quality. You'll be responsible for preparing sponge cakes, cheesecakes and daily baked items that represent our signature "pleasantly sweet" philosophy, not too sweet, always memorable.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare batters, bake cakes, and monitor baking consistency
  • Support production for pre-order and walk-in desserts
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations.
  • Follow recipes with precision and contribute to improving workflow efficiency
  • Work collaboratively with the cake decorator and FOH team
  • Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of all baked goods
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain inventory levels.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in bakery, pastry is preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
  • Knowledge of baking fundamentals (mixing, scaling, timing, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a small space
  • Food Handler Certificate is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
