Description

We are looking for a professional and high energy HR Assistant (4 month summer student – May-August) to be based out of Dieppe, NB. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the successful candidate will support the HR team with a variety of coordination activities which create a positive employee experience, ultimately delivering the positive customer experience which is the key to our success.

Responsibilities
  • Participating in Business Improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of HR processes, including process review and documentation.
  • Maintaining HR systems (i.e., HCM, ORC, paper and electronic files) to manage employee lifecycle entries while ensuring data integrity.
  • Preparing and distributing employee communication, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Coordinating various programs for employee recognition, rewards, wellness, and engagement initiatives.
  • Using internal HR systems to acquire, track and complete HR reports.
  • Supporting the HR team with general HR administrative duties.
Qualifications
  • You are pursuing a post-secondary degree/diploma with a HR focus, or a related discipline.
  • You have relevant work experience.
  • You have a strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational, communication and time management skills.
  • You are a highly organized individual who takes pride and ownership in producing professional work.
  • You are a self-starter and a problem solver and can able work independently in a team atmosphere with minimal supervision.
  • You have excellent computer skills and proficient knowledge of MS Office.
  • You have a professional demeanor and understand that confidentiality is a must.
  • You can communicate fluently, both written and orally in English (required) and French (asset).
