Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide expert acupuncture treatments to promote healing, pain relief, and overall wellness for our diverse patient population. This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on holistic health and patient care. The Acupuncturist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and treatment goals
  • Develop and implement customized acupuncture treatment plans based on patient needs
  • Perform acupuncture procedures using sterile techniques and appropriate medical equipment
  • Monitor patient responses during and after treatments, adjusting techniques as necessary
  • Educate patients on post-treatment care, lifestyle modifications, and wellness practices
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Stay informed about current research and advancements in acupuncture and holistic medicine
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols, including infection control standards

Qualifications

  • Valid license or certification as an Acupuncturist in accordance with province regulations
  • Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of patient care principles and medical terminology
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and reassure patients
  • Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to holistic health practices
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and record keeping
  • Knowledge in Korean language will be a great plus
