Senior Copywriter

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Copywriter to join the team that brings Spud's voice to life — someone who can turn ideas into stories that connect, inspire, and drive action. In this role, you'll craft compelling, on-brand copy across multiple channels — from digital campaigns and product descriptions to social media, internal communications, and everything in between.

You'll report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with marketing, procurement, and cross-functional teams to develop copy that reflects our mission, strengthens our brand, and deepens engagement with our community.

What You'll Do

• Write persuasive, engaging, and brand-aligned copy for websites, email campaigns, ads, blogs, social media, and product listings.
• Collaborate with the CEO, marketing, and other teams to create cohesive and creative messaging that supports the company corporate communication objectives and brand storytelling.
• Edit and proofread for clarity, accuracy, and consistency in tone and style.
• Ensure a strategic brand voice across all customer and internal communications.
• Support internal and external communications by preparing messaging, statements, and written materials in partnership with senior leadership.
• Optimize copy for SEO and digital performance.
• Stay ahead of content and industry trends to bring fresh, creative ideas to the table.
• Revise and refine copy based on feedback and evolving brand and operational priorities.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, marketing, communications, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional copywriting experience (agency or in-house preferred).
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for tone and nuance.
• A portfolio showcasing versatility and creative range across formats and audiences.
• Proven ability to balance creativity with strategic business objectives.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with comfort working cross-functionally.
• Experience with content management systems and SEO best practices is an asset.

Pay: $75,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
