Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to clients in their own homes. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about helping others, especially seniors and individuals with disabilities. The caregiver will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by offering personalized care, companionship, and assistance with daily activities. Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or working with people with disabilities is highly valued. The position involves a variety of duties including patient care, medication management, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. This is a paid position that offers meaningful work in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients of all ages, especially seniors and individuals with disabilities
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
  • Support clients with mobility and transfer activities
  • Assist with medical appointments and coordinate transportation if needed
  • Follow care plans developed by healthcare professionals to ensure consistent and quality care
  • Document care provided and communicate any changes in client condition to family members or healthcare teams

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or working with seniors or individuals with disabilities preferred
  • Knowledge of home care practices, and caregiving techniques
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required
  • Strong interpersonal skills with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
  • Certification in medication administration or caregiving is a plus but not mandatory
  • Ability to work independently and follow detailed care instructions
  • Must be reliable, compassionate, and committed to providing high-quality patient care
