Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to lead daily store operations in a premium specialty retail environment. The Store Manager is responsible for driving sales performance, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and managing all aspects of people leadership, operations, and store standards.

Salary: Starting at 56K

1. Leadership & Team Management

  • Act as Manager on Duty, overseeing store opening/closing procedures and holding full keyholder responsibility
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and develop team members, fostering a positive, inclusive, high-performing culture
  • Develop team product knowledge and customer service skills
  • Conduct team meetings to communicate goals, priorities, and updates
  • Support team engagement and career growth initiatives

2. Customer Experience & Store Operations

  • Deliver and model exceptional, personalized customer service
  • Resolve escalated customer concerns and returns professionally
  • Represent company values and products as a brand ambassador
  • Support B2B and corporate sales opportunities, including bulk orders
  • Oversee day-to-day store operations, inventory management, visual merchandising, and store presentation
  • Collaborate with marketing on promotional campaigns and seasonal initiatives
  • Maintain health, safety, and compliance standards

3. Financial & Performance Management

  • Oversee cash handling, POS compliance, and daily deposits
  • Monitor sales performance, labor costs, and financial KPIs, taking corrective actions as needed
  • Prepare and analyze reports to drive sales growth and operational efficiency
  • Ensure proper inventory levels and stock replenishment

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2 to 5 years of retail management experience, preferably in specialty or premium retail
  • Strong sales leadership and proven ability to drive KPIs
  • Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience with POS systems, cash management, and retail reporting
  • Solid understanding of inventory management and visual merchandising
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Passion for premium retail and specialty products
  • Bilingual in French and English
