Duties

  • Provide a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling for clients of all ages
  • Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles and products
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools in accordance with health regulations
  • Upsell retail products to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
  • Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments
  • Foster strong client relationships through excellent communication skills and personalized service
  • Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and product knowledge to offer innovative services
  • Assist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business and positive reviews

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Hair Stylist in a professional salon setting
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
  • Expertise in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, and chemical treatments
  • Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols in a salon environment
  • Ability to upsell products naturally while focusing on client needs
  • Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided for new team members
  • Excellent communication skills to ensure clear understanding of client desires and salon policies
